In addition, S&P Global Ratings assigned its 'A+' long-term rating to Mahoning County, Ohio's series 2017 GO various purpose improvement and refunding bonds and series 2017 GO taxable various purpose refunding bonds. At the same time, we affirmed our 'A+' long-term rating on the county's existing GO debt. The outlook on the long-term rating is stable. The notes and bonds are secured by a full faith-credit-and-resources and an agreement to levy ad valorem property taxes within state limitations (i.e., a limited-tax GO pledge [LTGO]).
