Standard&Poor's Ratings Services assigned its `A' rating to Lake County Consolidated High School District No. 120 (Mundelein), Ill.'s series 2007 limited tax GO debt certificates. Standard&Poor's also affirmed its 'A+' rating on the district's GO bonds. The rating outlook remains negative to reflect uncertainty regarding the district's ability to continue to balance its budget given limited revenue flexibility. Proceeds from the series 2007 debt certificates will be used to complete a 103-acre land purchase. The rating on the debt certificates is set one notch below the GO bond rating to reflect the fact that the certificates are payable only from funds legally available, and lack a full faith and credit pledge.
