(GE; GECC is considered a "core" subsidiary); GECC's strong, well-managed business franchise; its global scale and resources; management's generally successful track record in earning solid returns in favorable times and responding effectively to periods of stress; and continuing efforts to maintain strong capital and liquidity positions.
