S&P Global Ratings assigned its 'A-' long-term rating to Fort Bend County Municipal Utility District (MUD) No. 35, Texas' $2.97 million series 2021 unlimited-tax refunding bonds. At the same time, S&P Global Ratings affirmed its 'A-' long-term rating and underlying rating (SPUR) on the district's previously issued general obligation (GO) debt. The outlook is stable. Revenue from an unlimited-ad valorem tax on all taxable property within the district secures the bonds. Officials will use the proceeds to refund the district's series 2013 debt for an expected net present value savings with no extension of maturity.
