Standard&Poor's Ratings Services assigned its 'AA-' underlying rating and 'AA+' program rating to East Porter County School Building Corp., Ind.'s series 2016 first-mortgage refunding and improvement bonds, issued for East Porter County School Corp. At the same time, we affirmed our 'AA-' underlying rating and 'AA+' program rating on the school corporation's debt outstanding. The outlook on all ratings is stable. The 'AA+' rating is based on the school corporation meeting our Indiana State Aid Intercept program rating criteria. The credit characteristics of the rating are supported by the availability of state aid to be intercepted to cover debt service payments.
