Standard&Poor's Ratings Services assigned its 'AA-' underlying rating and 'AA+' program rating to East Porter County School Building Corp., Ind.'s series 2015 first-mortgage refunding and improvement bonds, issued for East Porter County Community School Corp. At the same time, we affirmed our 'AA+' program rating on the school district's existing first-mortgage bonds. The outlook on all ratings is stable. The 'AA+' rating is based on the school corporation meeting our Indiana State Aid Intercept program rating criteria. The credit characteristics of the rating are supported by the availability of state aid to be intercepted to cover debt service payments. The 'AA-' underlying rating reflects our opinion of the district's: Location within the larger and more diverse northwestern Indiana
