Standard&Poor's Ratings Services affirmed its 'A-' issuer credit rating (ICR) on the Colorado School of Mines Foundation. Incorporated in 1951, the foundation receives and manages contributions for the sole benefit of the Colorado School of Mines (CSM). The outlook is stable. The ICR reflects our view of the foundation's: Role as a supporting foundation that holds and invests the CSM endowment; Operating agreement that defines the terms of the relationship between the foundation and the university, its sole beneficiary; Lack of existing debt or guarantees and no near-term debt plans; Good progress on a large comprehensive capital campaign, backed by a strong history of fundraising; and Growing resources of $235 million cash and investments as of June 30,
