NEW YORK (Standard&Poor's) March 24, 2015--Standard&Poor's Ratings Services revised its outlook to positive from stable and affirmed its 'A-' issuer credit rating (ICR) on the Colorado School of Mines Foundation (CSM Foundation). "We base the outlook revision on the foundation's growing resources and strong history of fundraising as well as our positive outlook for the Colorado School of Mines," said Standard&Poor's credit analyst Sussan Corson. The foundation was incorporated in 1951, and receives and manages contributions for the sole benefit of the Colorado School of Mines (CSM) (see article published March 20, 2015, on RatingsDirect).
