Chinook Roads Partnership (ProjectCo) was selected to design, build, maintain, and operate the Southeast Stoney Trail in Calgary, Alta. The new infrastructure consists of 25 kilometers of a six-lane divided freeway, plus additional basic and auxiliary lanes, and includes nine interchanges, three flyovers, and additional pregrading for future interchanges. The project started its operations in November 2013. Chinook Highway Operations Inc. (CHOI) is the project's O&M contractor and it has subcontracted the O&M services to Mainroad Chinook Contracting L.P. ProjectCo is responsible for performing lifecycle service during operations. The suite of operations and maintenance (O&M) and lifecycle services is relatively simple The project receives monthly availability payment to cover capital and operating expenses.
