Standard&Poor's Ratings Services assigned its 'A-1/A-1 (sf)' rating to Bank of America N.A.'s series JVI-1005 floating-rate joint venture interests (JVIs), relating to Pennsylvania Higher Educational Facilities Authority's (Thomas Jefferson University) series 2014A revenue notes. The 'A-1' credit rating is based on the short-term rating on the swap agreement provider, Bank of America N.A. (A-1). The credit enhancement is scheduled to expire on Dec. 15, 2015, unless either extended or terminated beforehand pursuant to its terms. The underlying asset bears interest at the sum of (a) the SIFMA (Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association) Index and (b) 2.0%, subject to a maximum rate of 12%, in accordance with constituent documents for the underlying bonds.
