DALLAS (Standard&Poor's) Aug. 13, 2013--Standard&Poor's Ratings Services raised its underlying rating (SPUR) on Springdale, Ark.'s series 2006 sales-and-use tax bonds one notch to 'A+' from 'A'. The outlook is stable. The upgrade reflects Standard&Poor's assessment of the city's improved debt service coverage due to the upcoming refunding and the recent rebound in sales tax revenue.
