NY -- Standard&Poor's CreditWire 9/5/97 -- Standard&Poor's today assigned its triple-'A' rating to West Hartford, Conn.'s $15 million G.O. bonds series 1997 due Sept. 15, 2012. The bonds are scheduled to sell Sept. 10, 1997. Standard&Poor's affirmed its triple-'A' rating on West Hartford's outstanding G.O. bonds. The rating reflects: -- An affluent, high-value residential tax base; -- Access to the Hartford Metropolitan Statistical Area (MSA); -- Sound finances, strengthened by good financial management; and -- A low debt burden.
