About This Report

Abstract:

LONDON (Standard&Poor's) March 7, 2011--Standard&Poor's Ratings Services today corrected its rating on The Royal Bank of Scotland PLC's (A+/Stable/A-1) €1 billion 4.625% fixed-to-floating rate subordinated notes due Sept. 21, 2021. Due to an administrative error, we inadvertently placed the notes on CreditWatch with negative implications on Aug. 4, 2009. We identified the error on Sept. 15, 2010 and sought to remove the issue from CreditWatch on that date, but this action was not completed due to a further administrative error. We have today rectified the errors by removing the issue from CreditWatch. The issue rating is unchanged at 'BBB'.
