Abstract:

LONDON (Standard&Poor's) Nov. 22, 2010--Standard&Poor's Ratings Services today corrected its ratings on two Barclays Bank PLC (AA-/Negative/A-1+) dated subordinated Lower Tier 2 issues. Due to an administrative error, we inadvertently rated the issues as if they were senior unsecured securities. We have today rectified this error by lowering the issue ratings to 'A' from 'AA-'.
