S&P Global Ratings assigned its 'SP-1+' short-term rating to Mahoning County , Ohio's approximately $10.35 million series 2025 general obligation (GO; limited-tax) various-purpose notes. At the same time, we affirmed our 'AA-' long-term rating on the county's outstanding GO debt and our 'SP-1+' short-term rating. The outlook, where applicable, is stable. The 2025 notes as well as the county's outstanding GO debt are secured by its full faith credit and resources and an agreement to levy ad valorem property taxes within its share of its 10-mill limitation.
