On March 3, 2009, Standard&Poor's Ratings Services affirmed its 'BBB-' long-term corporate credit and debt ratings on France-based IT service provider Cap Gemini S.A. The outlook is stable. The affirmation reflects our belief that Cap Gemini's progressive strengthening of its business profile over the last four years, combined with, as of Dec. 31, 2008, a reported solid balance sheet and good liquidity, should allow the group to weather the current economic downturn while retaining investment-grade credit measures over the next two years. It also reflects our assessment of the group's financial policy over the last few years as prudent, and our expectation that any potential sizable acquisition would not result in a significant weakening of the company's balance
