PARIS (Standard&Poor's) March 3, 2009--Standard&Poor's Ratings Services said today that it affirmed its 'BBB-' long-term corporate credit and debt ratings on France-based IT service provider Cap Gemini S.A. The outlook is stable. "The affirmation reflects our belief that Cap Gemini's progressive strengthening of its business profile over the last four years, combined with a solid balance sheet and good liquidity at the end of 2008, should allow the group to weather the current economic downturn while retaining investment-grade credit measures over the next two years," said Standard&Poor's credit analyst Melvyn Cooke.
