S&P Global Ratings assigned its 'AAA' rating to the Town of Branford , Conn.'s $9.5 million series 2025 general obligation (GO) bonds. At the same time, we affirmed our 'AAA' long-term rating on the town's previously issued GO debt. The outlook is stable. Branford's full faith and credit pledge secures the series 2025 GO bonds and debt outstanding. Series 2025 proceeds will finance four ongoing projects around the town, mainly the police headquarters renovation project and road improvements. Small amounts will also finance main street improvements and roofing at the high school.
