S&P Global Ratings assigned its'AAA'long-term rating to the town of Branford , Connecticut's $8 million series 2026A general obligation (GO) bonds and its'SP-1+'short-term rating to the town's $10.26 million series 2026B GO bond anticipation notes (BANs). At the same time, we affirmed our'AAA'long-term rating on Branford's previously issued GO debt and our'SP-1+'short-term rating on the outstanding BANs. The outlook is stable. The series 2026 GO notes and debt outstanding are secured by Branford's full faith and credit pledge. The short-term rating on the BANs reflects our criteria for evaluating and rating BANs.
