We have reviewed our ratings on Bank of China Ltd. (BOC) and Bank of China (New Zealand) Ltd. under our revised criteria. We have affirmed the 'A' long-term and 'A-1' short-term issuer credit ratings on BOC and Bank of China (New Zealand) Ltd. The outlooks on the long-term ratings are stable. We also affirmed the issue ratings on these entities. The stable outlook on BOC reflects our view that the bank can maintain its credit profile over the next two years. On Dec. 23, 2021, S&P Global Ratings affirmed its issuer credit ratings on BOC and Bank of China (New Zealand) Ltd. The outlooks on the long-term ratings are stable.
