Guatemalan universal bank Banco Industrial has maintained its "strong" business position as the largest bank in the country, while its adequate asset quality and profitability metrics continue to support its financial profile. We are affirming our long-term 'BB' and short-term 'B' ratings on the bank. The stable outlook reflects our expectation that the bank will maintain its large market share with a moderate and stable risk-adjusted capitalization thanks to higher internal capital generation and capital injections.
