OVERVIEW Rhode Island Student Loan Authority's series 2009A, 2010A, 2010B, 2012A, 2013A, 2014A, 2015A, and 2016A issuances are backed by a pool of private student loans originated under either the Rhode Island Family Education Loan Program or a private consolidation loan program. We affirmed our ratings on 82 bonds from eight series issued by Rhode Island Student Loan Authority out of its June 2009 master trust. The affirmations reflect our view of the master trust's credit support, parity, pool characteristics, and the timely interest and principal payments made under stressed cash flow modeling scenarios, among other factors.
