NextEra Energy Inc. (NextEra) is planning to implement various governance changes at its subsidiary NextEra Energy Partners L.P. (NEP) (BB/Stable/--) that will lead to a loss of control of NEP. We expect that the loss of control will not affect NextEra's business and financial risk profiles, and we are affirming our ratings on NextEra and its subsidiaries, NextEra Energy Capital Holdings Inc. and Florida Power&Light Co., including the 'A-' issuer credit rating on each entity. The outlook is stable. We expect that because of the coming changes at NEP, NextEra would not financially support NEP, and therefore, we have rated NEP on a stand-alone basis. The stable outlook on NextEra Energy Inc. and its subsidiaries continues to reflect
