Abstract:

OVERVIEW New Jersey Higher Education Student Assistance Authority's issuance is an ABS securitization backed by private fixed-rate student loans made under New Jersey Higher Education Student Assistance Authority's NJCLASS loan program. We assigned our preliminary ratings to the class 2013-1A and 2013-1B notes. The preliminary ratings reflect our view of the transaction's expected initial parities at closing, loan eligibility criteria, and strong credit characteristics, among other factors. NEW YORK (Standard&Poor's) May 13, 2013--Standard&Poor's Ratings Services today assigned its preliminary ratings to New Jersey Higher Education Student Assistance Authority's $200.0 million student loan revenue bonds (see list). The note issuance is asset-backed securitization backed by private fixed-rate student loans made under New Jersey Higher Education Student Assistance
