NEW YORK (Standard&Poor's CreditWire) April 19, 1999-Standard&Poor's today affirmed its single-'A'-plus SPUR (Standard&Poor's Underlying Rating) on New Jersey Health Care Facilities Financing Authority's $18.3 million revenue bonds series 91B and $27.73 million refunding revenue bonds series 96C, issued for Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, N.J. (RWJ). The rating reflects Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital's strong financial position driven largely by business growth. A higher rating is precluded at this time as RWJ has substantial future financing plans. Although the hospital has room for some additional debt at this rating level, the financing plans are not complete at this time and cannot be assessed.
