S&P Global Ratings affirmed its 'AAA' and 'AAA/A-1+' ratings on Massachusetts Institute of Technology's (MIT) debt outstanding, some of which is issued by MIT or by the Massachusetts Development Finance Agency (formerly known as the Massachusetts Health and Educational Facilities Authority). The outlook, where applicable, is stable. At pricing, MIT had intended to either issue Series H taxable bonds or increase the par of the existing Series F taxable bonds. MIT did not issue the Series H bonds, and the outstanding long-term rating on MIT's debt remains 'AAA', as we have assessed the additional debt in our rating.
