NEW YORK (S&P Global Ratings) Feb. 23, 2022--S&P Global Ratings assigned its 'AAA' rating to $500 million in series H taxable debt issued by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). At the same time, S&P Global Ratings affirmed its 'AAA' and 'AAA/A-1+' ratings on MIT's debt outstanding, some of which is issued by MIT or by the Massachusetts Development Finance Agency (formerly known as the Massachusetts Health and Educational Facilities Authority). The outlook, where applicable, is stable.
