NEW YORK (S&P Global Ratings) Feb. 23, 2022--S&P Global Ratings assigned its 'AAA' rating to $500 million in series H taxable debt issued by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). At the same time, S&P Global Ratings affirmed its 'AAA' and 'AAA/A-1+' ratings on MIT's debt outstanding, some of which is issued by MIT or by the Massachusetts Development Finance Agency (formerly known as the Massachusetts Health and Educational Facilities Authority).
