S&P Global Ratings raised its long-term rating on Madison Jersey etc. Counties Community College District No.536 (Lewis and Clark Community College) (LCCC), Ill.'s outstanding general obligation (GO) debt certificates and bonds to 'A+' from 'A-'. The upgrade reflects our view of the college's strengthened financial performance over the past four audited years that has translated to meaningful growth in financial resources including cash and investments to debt and operations. The outlook is stable. Total debt outstanding as of June 30, 2023, was $81.6 million consisting of the district's existing GO bonds and debt certificates.
