Lake County Consolidated High School District No.120 (Mundelein), IL GO Bond Rating Raised To 'AA+'

CHICAGO (Standard&Poor's) Oct. 1, 2014--Standard&Poor's Ratings Services raised its long-term and underlying rating (SPUR) to 'AA+' from 'AA' on Lake County Consolidated High School District No. 120 (Mundelein), Ill.'s existing general obligation (GO) bonds. At the same time, Standard&Poor's raised its long-term rating and SPUR to 'AA' from 'AA-' on the district's existing debt certificates. The outlook on all ratings is stable. "The raised ratings reflect our view of the consistent improvement in the district's financial position during the past several years," said Standard&Poor's credit analyst Helen Samuelson.
