Abstract:

OVERVIEW -- We are raising our ratings on two series of letter of credit (LOC)-supported bonds issued by Illinois Finance Authority and removing the ratings from CreditWatch developing. -- The upgrades reflect the substitution of the LOCs provided by Suntrust Bank with new LOCs provided by JPMorgan Chase Bank N.A. -- We are also affirming our rating on one series of LOC-supported bonds and removing the rating from CreditWatch positive. NEW YORK (Standard&Poor's) June 2, 2009--Standard&Poor's Ratings Services today raised its ratings on Illinois Finance Authority's pollution control revenue refunding bonds series 2008-D due March 1, 2020, and series 2008-E due May 1, 2021, to 'AA-/A-1+' from 'A-/A-2' and removed the ratings from CreditWatch with developing
