CHICAGO (Standard&Poor's) Dec. 17, 2013--Standard&Poor's Ratings Services said that it revised the outlook for Holt Public Schools, Mich.'s long-term rating to negative from stable. At the same time, Standard&Poor's affirmed its 'A+' long-term rating and the 'AA-' program rating on the district. The outlook for the 'AA-' program rating is positive. "The negative outlook for the long-term rating reflects our view of expected draws on reserves in the current fiscal year and possibly the following year," said Standard&Poor's credit analyst Scott Nees, "which, in conjunction with draws from previous years, are likely to leave the district with a much thinner reserves cushion than in years past."
