LONDON (Standard&Poor's) Jan. 17, 2007--Standard&Poor's Ratings Services today kept its 'A-' long-term corporate credit rating on The Netherlands-based European Aeronautic Defence and Space Co. N.V. (EADS), the world's second-largest aerospace and defense group, on CreditWatch with negative implications, following the group's profit warning. The ratings were originally placed on CreditWatch on Oct. 3, 2006. At the same time, the short term 'A-2' corporate credit rating, which is not on CreditWatch, was affirmed. On Jan. 17, 2007, EADS announced that its Airbus division is expected to deliver a negative EBIT contribution for the full year 2006. At the group level, positive EBIT contributions from other divisions are expected to roughly balance out the estimated negative EBIT impact
