NY -- Standard&Poor's CreditWire 6/20/97 -- Standard&Poor's today has lowered the rating on Duke Energy Corp.'s (formerly Duke Power Co.) senior secured debt to single-'A'-plus from double-'A'-minus (see full list of ratings below). The outlook is stable. At the same time, Standard&Poor's has raised its ratings on PanEnergy Corp. and its subsidiaries. The 'A-2' commercial paper rating on PanEnergy Corp. has been withdrawn. The outlook is stable. The single-'A'-minus rating of Duke Energy Trading&Marketing LLC, a nonregulated energy marketing company that combines the operations and expertise of PanEnergy Trading and Market Services LLC and Duke/Louis Dreyfus LLC is affirmed. The outlook is stable. The ratings on all entities are removed from CreditWatch
