On Dec. 5, 2011, we placed our 'BBB+' long-term and 'A-2' short-term ratings on the Republic of Ireland on CreditWatch negative. In accordance with our criteria for rating government-related entities, we placed our 'BBB' long-term corporate credit rating on Ireland-based airport operator Dublin Airport Authority PLC (DAA) on CreditWatch negative and affirmed our 'A-3' short-term corporate credit rating on DAA on Dec. 8, 2011. The CreditWatch placement reflects the risk that a deterioration of Ireland's creditworthiness may put pressure on the stand-alone credit profile and long-term rating on DAA.
