This report supplements our research update "Curacao 'A-/A-2' Ratings Affirmed; Outlook Remains Stable," published on March 23, 2016. To provide the most current information, we may cite more recent data than that stated in the previous publication. These differences have been determined not to be sufficiently significant to affect the rating and our main conclusions. The ratings on Curaçao reflect its stable political system within the Kingdom of the Netherlands, as well as its strong balance sheet and net general government asset position. They also reflect monetary and exchange rate rigidities, and large but stable current account deficits (CAD).
