Abstract:

PARIS (Standard&Poor's) Jan. 8, 2014--Standard&Poor's Ratings Services said today that it assigned its 'BB+' long-term issue rating to the proposed additional Tier 1 undated deeply subordinated notes to be issued by France-based Crédit Agricole S.A. (CASA; A/Negative/A-1). The rating is subject to our review of the notes' final documentation. "Crédit Agricole S.A. Group" (GCASA) refers to the individual parent company CASA and its consolidated subsidiaries and associates, as under the documentation for the notes. The larger Crédit Agricole Group (GCA) refers to individual parent company CASA, the Crédit Agricole Mutuel regional banks (caisses régionales de Crédit Agricole Mutuel), the Crédit Agricole Mutuel local credit cooperatives (caisses locales de Crédit Agricole Mutuel) and their consolidated subsidiaries.
