PARIS (Standard&Poor's) Dec. 21, 2007--Standard&Poor's Ratings Services said today that it revised its outlooks on France-based Crédit Agricole S.A. (CASA) and corporate and investment banking subsidiary Calyon to stable from positive, following news yesterday that the unit is to post a full-year loss for 2007 due to an additional €2.5 billion in write-downs on U.S. subprime-related exposures. At the same time, Standard&Poor's affirmed the 'AA-/A-1+' counterparty credit ratings on CASA and Calyon. In addition, the outlooks on a number of CASA's related entities, including the Caisses Régionales de Crédit Agricole (CRCAs), were similarly revised to stable from positive, and the counterparty credit ratings on these entities were affirmed.
