NEW YORK (Standard&Poor's) Oct. 20, 2008--Standard&Poor's Ratings Services assigned its 'AA+' long-term rating and 'AA' issuer credit rating (ICR), and stable outlook, to Clay County School District No. 74 (North Kansas City), Mo.'s series 2008 general obligation (GO) school building bonds in the amount of $10 million. At the same time, we raised the ICR on the district's GO bonds outstanding to 'AA' from 'AA-'. We also affirmed our 'AA+' standard long-term rating, with a stable outlook, based on the district's participation in the Missouri Direct Deposit of State Aid Program.
