Standard&Poor's Ratings Services affirmed its 'AA-' issuer credit rating (ICR) on Children's Hospital in New Orleans (Children's), La. The outlook is stable. Children's sole member is Louisiana Children's Medical Center (LCMC), which consists of Children's, Touro Infirmary (Touro; 'BB+'), and University Medical Center Management Corp. (UMCMC), the last of which, effective June 24, 2013, will operate and manage Louisiana State University's Interim Louisiana Hospital in New Orleans (Interim Louisiana Hospital). The rating on Children's also incorporates the financial profile of the consolidated system, LCMC. However, we have not fully incorporated the operations of the Interim Louisiana Hospital, as reimbursement for operations at that facility will change during the next year.
