TORONTO (S&P Global Ratings) Sept. 22, 2022--S&P Global Ratings today said that its ratings on Autopistas Metropolitanas de Puerto Rico LLC (PR-22 and PR-5 toll roads; BBB-/Stable) and Aerostar Airport Holdings LLC (Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport; BBB+/Stable) are not immediately affected by Hurricane Fiona. The hurricane struck the island's southwest coast as a Category 1 storm on Sept. 18. The toll road's corridor is in the north and airport on the northwest coast of the island, so hurricane damage has been less extensive. Neither project has reported significant damage, although Autopistas is investigating its 56-mile road and bridges network.
