Abstract:

MEXICO CITY (Standard&Poor's) Oct. 10, 2011--Standard&Poor's Ratings Services said today that its ratings on Grupo Bimbo S.A.B. de C.V. (BBB/Negative/--) are not immediately affected by the company's announcement of an agreement to acquire Sara Lee Corp.'s fresh bakery business in Spain and Portugal for €115 million. Given the transaction's amount, we do not expect a significant impact on the company's financial profile. We will continue to monitor Bimbo's growth strategy and deleveraging trend in the upcoming quarters.
