(UNH; A+/Stable/A-1), is making progress toward fully restoring its operations following a major cyber attack. As of March 7, 2024, electronic prescribing through the pharmacy services division of Change Healthcare became available for claim submissions and payment transmission. Based on the company's website, Changes' payments platform will be available starting March 15, and its medical claims restoration is slated to return the week of March 18. On Feb. 21, 2024, Change Healthcare became the victim of an attack by a threat actor known as ALPHV/Blackcat, affecting all of its operations. In response to this incident and to contain the threat, UNH disconnected Change Healthcare's systems with its patients and partners.
