MOSCOW (S&P Global Ratings) June 19, 2020--S&P Global Ratings today said that recently announced change in Turkcell?s (BB-/Stable/--) ownership structure is moderately positive for the company's governance. We believe that the transaction announced by new and former shareholders of Turkcell, including Turkish Wealth Fund (TWF) and Telia, will lead to a simplified ownership structure and will benefit decision-making. We also believe the new shareholder structure will reduce risks of abrupt changes in financial policy and strategic direction (although this has not been the case in recent years). We understand from TWF's announcement that new shareholders intend to support Turkcell's existing dividend policy. We will discuss with management the company's dividend and financial policy after the transaction closes, but we don't
