NEW YORK (Standard&Poor's) Feb. 23, 2005--Boeing Co. (A/Stable/A-1) announced yesterday that it will sell the Wichita/Tulsa division of Boeing Commercial Airplanes to Onex Corp. of Canada for $900 million cash, the transfer of certain pension assets and liabilities, and long-term supply agreements. In addition, Boeing announced that it will sell its Rocketdyne Propulsion&Power business to Pratt&Whitney, a unit of United Technologies Corp. (A/Stable/A-1), for $700 million in cash. The announced divestitures do not affect Standard&Poor's Ratings Services' ratings or outlook on Boeing.
