SAN FRANCISCO (S&P Global Ratings) March 28, 2024--S&P Global Ratings assigned its 'AA' rating to the Arizona Board of Regents' (the regents) and Arizona State University's (ASU) $151.8 million series 2024A (green bond), $169.7 million series 2024B, and $60.3 million taxable series 2024C system revenue bonds (SRBs). Also, S&P Global Ratings assigned its 'AA-' rating to the regents' and ASU's $149.8 million series 2024 Stimulus Plan for Economic and Educational Development (SPEED) bonds. At the same time, S&P Global Ratings affirmed its 'AA' long-term rating and underlying rating (SPUR) on the Regents' and ASU's existing SRBs and its 'AA-' long-term rating and SPUR on the university's existing SPEED bonds, certificates of participation (COPs), and lease-backed debt.
