...August 1, 2019 NEW YORK (S&P Global Ratings) Aug. 1, 2019--S&P Global Ratings today assigned its preliminary '## (sf)' issue-level rating to American Airlines Inc.'s series 2019-1 Class ## pass-through enhanced equipment trust certificates (EETCs). At the same time, we assigned our preliminary 'A (sf)' issue-level rating to the company's series 2019-1 Class A pass-through EETCs. In addition, we assigned our preliminary '###- (sf)' issue-level rating to its series 2019-1 Class B pass-through EETCs. American Airlines Inc. is planning to finance 14 new aircraft and refinance 21 existing aircraft with approximately $579 million of Class ##, approximately $289 million of Class A, and approximately $228 million of Class B 2019-1 EETCs. These issues have expected final distribution dates of Feb. 15, 2032 (Class ## and Class A) and Feb. 15, 2028 (Class B), with legal final maturities occurring 18 months later.
