Global e-commerce retailer Amazon.com's has performed strongly in a generally difficult retail environment. The company continues to maintain above-average credit ratios as a result of very solid operational performance. We are raising our corporate credit rating on Amazon to 'A' from 'A-'. The stable rating outlook reflects our expectations for continued strong momentum in performance and for credit metrics to remain above average. NEW YORK (Standard&Poor's) Feb. 23, 2011--Standard&Poor's Ratings Services said today that it raised its corporate credit rating on Seattle-based Amazon.com to 'A' from 'A-'. The outlook is stable.
