Question: Brian Shipman - UBS - Analyst : I will start with a question myself. Janet or Len maybe, you've had two good months of performance now in the fourth quarter, particularly at The New York Times newspaper. Is your lack of willingness to offer guidance today imply that December is materially performing differently than the first two months of the quarter? And what are you seeing maybe with early commitments into the first quarter of 2006? REFINITIV STREETEVENTS | www.refinitiv.com | Contact Us consent of Refinitiv. Question: Brian Shipman - UBS - Analyst : Thank you. Entertainment had been a category you had hoped would be much stronger in the second half of the year. You mentioned just now that it has been a little bit choppy still. Earlier this week we heard from a couple of panels that entertainment looked like it could be much better in 2006. What are your feelings on that category?

Question: Brian Shipman - UBS - Analyst : I'd like to ask one more question before I open it up to the audience. In a speech recently to a group of students at a local journalism school one of your senior editors talked about a strong likelihood that we would see more Internet related acquisitions by The New York Times Company. Can you talk about that, particularly what areas of the Internet you might be focused on for possible future deals?

Question: Brian Shipman - UBS - Analyst : Thank you very much. QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS
