OCTOBER 02, 2015 / 4:00PM, CSCO.OQ - Raymond James and Cisco to Host a Conference Call on Software
Question: CB Mortensen - - Analyst
: Good morning, Simon. Just a quick question. In the traditional environment of infrastructure software, could you define how the new environment
is from a competitive standpoint? And bumping up against VMware, or Oracle, or Red Hat, IBM, or even Arista Networks?
Question: Simon Leopold - Raymond James & Associates, Inc. - Analyst
: Operator, do we have any other questions in the queue?
Question: Eric Cribbes - - Analyst
: Good morning, John, thanks for joining us today. Hello, I have a follow-up, if you will, please. Two-fold, one you gave us a couple stats in terms of
how far software has come as a mix for the Company, so clearly you have had a pretty big impact. Part one, how should we measure your success
over time, in terms of that mix and impact on the overall organization, one? And then two, a little more pointed question in terms of cloud you
mentioned, is the strategy more to enable, or do you ultimately see hosting and supporting cloud for end-users? Thanks.

Question: Simon Leopold - Raymond James & Associates, Inc. - Analyst
: John, I have another question I was hoping to ask you, as well, and given we got a little bit of time, is there a scenario where you could envision
Cisco licensing its own infrastructure software for a white box switch, or at least separate the software from the hardware?
Question: Simon Leopold - Raymond James & Associates, Inc. - Analyst
: Certainly understand that. So, before we wrap up, operator, do you want to just poll one more time to see if we have any questions, give folks one
last shot?
Question: James Sparling - - Analyst
: Thanks for taking the question. Just, and I apologize if you addressed this, I joined the call late. On the collaboration portfolio, it seems to be a lot
of assets on the market for sale. I'd just be curious how you guys think of your current technology portfolio, and whether you have any ambitions
on the M&A front, to accelerate your efforts on the collaboration site? Thanks.
Question: Simon Leopold - Raymond James & Associates, Inc. - Analyst
