Question: Mike Cikos - Needham & Company - Analyst
: I think one of the things I wanted to do just to provide a quick overview of JFrog, and can you guys walk through the company's basic value
proposition? I would think most of our clients on the call today are likely familiar with the company, but this should act as just a quick baseline
understanding for the general population here.
Question: Mike Cikos - Needham & Company - Analyst
: Terrific. And I guess while we are talking on this broad overview standpoint, can you help walk us through the product offering? I know you're
already talking about binaries here, but specifically, while you're going through that product offering, can you also talk to the pain points you are
addressing for your customers and the different use cases they are finding for your solution?
Question: Mike Cikos - Needham & Company - Analyst
: Awesome. Thank you for that, Shlomi. And it's interesting, one of the things that I think investors and even analysts here are looking at is the
complexity of that DevOps ecosystem you are talking to, right, it's really easy to get tangled up in that environment. And I was just hoping that
you could help explain how JFrog sits alongside the number of tools that are broadly available today, and how do your solutions fit into that broader
DevOps landscape?
Question: Mike Cikos - Needham & Company - Analyst
: Terrific, terrific. And we really see you guys fitting in with these major technological shifts out there. There is the push on microservices, cloud
serverless, how do you see these impacting customer demand for your solutions as we continue to walk down these secular tailwinds?
Question: Mike Cikos - Needham & Company - Analyst
: Great. And I'm just seeing we had a question that did come in that I wanted to ask you before we went further on some of the Q&A I had. But more
of a, I guess, top of mind question, what have you seen from an impact perspective in relation to the Log4j vulnerability? And do you anticipate a
pickup in demand as a result of that?
Question: Mike Cikos - Needham & Company - Analyst
: All right. And I know we are hitting on it a lot here, but I think it would be probably helpful to some of the listeners as well, the importance of
binaries as really this critical point in the DevOps landscape versus source code. Can you walk through why JFrog is focused on the binary specifically?
What advantage does that give you as opposed to looking maybe at source code?
Question: Mike Cikos - Needham & Company - Analyst
: Understood, understood. And if I'm just looking back at the company's evolution, so you began with this flagship product, Artifactory, and you are
building out other products and developing this broader platform. How much of the DevOps ecosystem do you feel you need to own? And maybe
from a strategic standpoint, how far out do you want or need to extend in addition to what you already have out there?
Question: Mike Cikos - Needham & Company - Analyst
: Go right ahead, go right ahead.
Question: Mike Cikos - Needham & Company - Analyst
: Okay. And just coming back to that, this broadening platform that we are going through, how is it you guys are balancing these broader integrations
that you're making with other companies in the DevOps ecosystem? And then I guess, can you also touch on the enterprise customer standardizing
on this platform that you've built?
Question: Mike Cikos - Needham & Company - Analyst
: Great, great, thank you. And the second component, which I guess is a little bit more separate topic, if you will, but that platform again and the
enterprise standardization, should we expect that becoming more of a focus over time to have your enterprises standardized on the JFrog platform?
So just given the large market opportunity ahead of these expanding use cases you have as well.
Question: Mike Cikos - Needham & Company - Analyst
: That's great because that leads into the next question, was going to be more about competition. If I am thinking about the current environment,
the number of DevOps-oriented companies out there today, I think of recent IPOs, GitLab, HashiCorp. Can you talk about competition as you guys
see it and how that's evolved?
Question: Mike Cikos - Needham & Company - Analyst
: It's important to get that out there. I appreciate that, I do. And I guess the last thing I want to do, and we only have a couple of more minutes here,
but if I could ask about Xray. Can you first level set with what this brings to your offering? And then secondly, from a strategic standpoint, how
important is it in the grand scheme of the platform you're currently building out?
Question: Mike Cikos - Needham & Company - Analyst
: Great. And I think we have just another minute here, but maybe to put a finer point on that, to recap, with that Log4j that we are talking about and
the security you guys are enabling, are you seeing that come through already in pipeline or other metrics that you're tracking, or is this so early
that it remains to be seen what the ultimate impact would be in the business?
Question: Mike Cikos - Needham & Company - Analyst
: Terrific, terrific. And I know we are at the top of the time here, but I really do appreciate you guys joining us. Thank you very much and good luck
with the rest of the conference.
